Yes, you can use an alcohol based solution in the Rinse Stand. You can also mix isopropyl alcohol with water to create your own rinsing solution.

We advise you to use rinse stand and clean the blades with cool water. The Platinum rinse stand is compatible with all skull shaver products.

If you have a 5 head blade, turn the shaver on and dip the running blades in the Rinse Stand or a bowl of water. Let the blades run for 30 seconds to a minute. The running blades will push out the hair clippings.

If you have a 3 or 4 head blade, you can separate the blades from the drivetrain. Separate the blades by pressing up on the tab. The blades will snap off and you can rinse them under running water.

Most of our shavers can be used to shave wet or dry, with or without shaving cream or foam. Pitbull, Butterfly Kiss, and Palm shavers are also IPX5 water resistant, so you can safely shave in the shower. However, please do not fully submerge any of our shavers.

If you are using original Skull Shaver from 2013-2014, then you can only do dry shave. This was our first model and it comes with the engraved name as SKULL SHAVERTM on the shaver handle/body.

Our shavers come with a USB charging cable so your shaver can be charged from almost any USB port, battery pack, or wall adapter that outputs 5 volts or less. DO NOT use any charging adapter that outputs more than 5 volts/1 amp! Using any other charger or exceeding those output specs will void your warranty and may damage the unit.

Our newest shavers are IPX5 water resistant. You can use any of the Pitbull, Palm, or Butterfly Kiss shavers in the shower. We do not recommend using any of our shavers in the bathtub.

Previous Bald Eagle and Butterfly shavers are not water resistant and should not be used in the shower or bath.

All of our shavers are compatible with worldwide voltages from 120v up to 240v. You may need a physical plug adapter for different countries. Many of our shavers come with a USB charging cable so your shaver can be charged from any USB port, battery pack, or wall adapter.

For best results, we recommend shaving in small circular motions. The rotary blades allow you to shave while moving the shaver in any direction.

For the smoothest shave possible, we recommend shaving in the shower and using shaving cream or foam. The hot water and steam from the shower will help soften your hair, and the shaving cream will help protect your skin. All Pitbull, Butterfly Kiss, and Palm shavers are water resistant and can safely be used in the shower.

As with any new shaving device, it may take 2 to 3 weeks for your skin to adapt to a new shaving method.

To clean your blades, they do not need to be disassembled beyond unsnapping the blades from the drivetrain. Blades do not need to be disassembled down to their individual components by removing the inner white brace. If your blades have fallen apart, or been taken apart beyond what was needed, this video (starting at 46 seconds) will help you re-assemble them correctly and get them back in action.

Our patented blades are designed to vacuum the hair into the blade chamber as you shave allowing you to shave anytime, anywhere with no mess. What happens with old or clogged blades is that the motor will work extra hard trying to spin the blades which can cause the motor to bog down or fail completely. This is why we recommend cleaning your blades thoroughly after every shave and replacing blades every 3-6 months to optimize the performance of your shaver.

Depending on the frequency and volume of shaving, as well as the
thickness of your hair, on average we recommend you replace your blade
every 3-6 months. The reason we suggest replacing them every 3-6 months is because when you have an old or clogged blade it causes the machine to slow down or stop working altogether.

We recommend you allow an adaptation period of 3 weeks, during which you should shave regularly (at least 4 times per week) to allow your hair and skin to adapt to the new shaver. If you experience heavy irritation, please stop shaving to allow your skin to heal. During this period, use your new electric shaver exclusively and do not alternate shaving methods; alternating shaving methods makes it more difficult to adapt to the new shaving system. Your first shaves may not give you the result you expect and your skin may even become slightly irritated. This is not uncommon since your skin and beard need time to adapt to any new shaving system.

See the instructions that came with the shaver. Most shavers take approximately 2 1⁄2 hours to fully recharge from a completely dead battery. Our shavers come with a USB charging cable so your shaver can be charged from almost any USB port, battery pack, or wall adapter that outputs 5 volts or less. DO NOT use any charging adapter that outputs more than 5 volts!

A Pitbull Silver or Butterfly Kiss shaver will last approximately 60 minutes on a single charge. Other models like Pitbull Gold and Pitbull Platinum should last for 90 minutes when fully charged. This is normally good for up to 30 days of cordless shaving, depending on the size of shaving areas, thickness of hair and your shaving habits.

Please fully dry your shaver before charging.

Our Pitbull, Palm, and Butterfly Kiss shavers are not adjustable. They only leave a smooth shave down to the skin.

The Beast Clippers are adjustable and will leave a little stubble at their closest setting. The stubble length can be adjusted to shorter or longer with a Beast Clipper.

Shaving oil can build up in the blades and become difficult to clean. As a result, shaving oil should not be used in any 5 head blade. You can use shaving oil with the 3 or 4 head PRO blades, but they should be thoroughly cleaned from time to time.

There are 3 types of blades. The
Carver, Forte and Baron. The Carver is recommended for coarse hair, the
Forte for most users, and the Baron for sensitive skin and/or fine hair.
All of them give a great shave but the comfort level changes depending

There are also 3-head, 4-head, and 5-head models. The 5-head models
have a strong following and many people fell in love with Skull Shaver
using this blade. The 5 head was the original Skull Shaver design that
won many over. However, as much as we love them, the new PRO blade
